POSITION OVERVIEW:
To plan and provide for total patient care through the use of the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. To direct and guide patient teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current Iowa RN license
BCLS, ACLS as indicated by the area of responsibility
Experience preferred, but not required
HOURS :
Full-time nights. 3 (12-hour) night shifts per week. Every 3rd weekend. Holiday rotation. Hours (6:00pm - 6:30am)
Pay period: Monday through Sunday.

BLS - Copy of both sides of the card - through American Heart Association
All copies of applicable certifications, i.e.: ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NRP
Immunizations to include:
o MMR (Mumps, Rubeola & Rubella) either 2 doses or Positive Titers
o Varicella-positive titer or 2 Varicella Vaccines
o Polio
o Hepatitis B Series, titer or signed declination
o Current TDaP - Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (dated within 10 years of start)
o COVID-19 vaccine
o Flu vaccination or signed JCHC exemption during Flu Season (Oct 1st - March 31st)
Negative 2-step Mantoux (or QuantiFERON Gold) within 1 year of start
If Positive, must provide proof of positive & chest x-ray results
o Proof of physical within 1 year of start date
o 10 Panel Drug Screen within 1 month of start date
Respiratory Fit Test within 1 year of start date (we can provide RFT if not available)
Criminal Background (All states where they hold a professional license and have lived/worked in the past 7 years) within 30 days of start date
National &/or State Sex Offender
GSA(EPLS) Sam.gov within 30 days of start date
OIG-Date within 30 days of start date
Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse)
Completion of CareLearning education modules (further instructions will be provided by JCHC) Mandatory Reporter will be added to modules if the candidate is not certified. Must have completed prior to start.
